Robert Keith Hess, 81, of Waveland passed away Jan. 1, 2023, at Signature Healthcare, Terre Haute.
He was born Dec. 1, 1941, at Crawfordsville, to the late Dane and Pansy (Peterman) Hess.
Robert was a graduate of Waveland High School. He owned and operated Hess Dog Supply for several years. He was a member of the Waveland Conservation Club.
Robert is survived by his sister, Wanda Hopkins, Indianapolis; two nephews, Stephen and Gregory Hopkins; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 5 at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Friends are invited for a time of visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert’s memory may be made to the Montgomery County Humane Society or Charity of Donor’s choice.
