Crawfordsville boys’ soccer played host to a jamboree on Saturday with North Montgomery, Southmont and West Vigo.
The Athenians defeated North Montgomery 4-0 in the first game and won the second game 3-0 against West Vigo.
The friendly competition was based on 35-minute games for each team.
Crawfordsville’s Dario Huesca totaled three scores on the day and Jaziel Gil scored a hat-trick of three goals against West Vigo.
Southmont and North Montgomery opened the regular season Monday versus Sheridan and Covington, respectively. Crawfordsville will play today at home against Sagamore Conference foe Western Boone to start their season.
