Mary “Cheryl” (Vaughn) Lieske, 76, of Roachdale passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent, Indianapolis.
She was born Jan. 10, 1948, at Crawfordsville, to the late Donald Vaughn and Betty (Biddle) West.
Cheryl graduated from New Market High School in 1966. She then went on to attend cosmetology school, where she worked in the industry for several years. Cheryl married Bradley Scott Lieske on June 18, 1967, at Crawfordsville.
She enjoyed antiquing, cooking, reading and trips with her daughter to Las Vegas and Florida.
Cheryl will be deeply missed by daughter Aissa Lieske. She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred (Patty) Lieske, Karen (Brad) McCloud, Lana (John) Presslor, Charlene (Rick) Carrington and Luann (Brian) Starnes; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Brad; brothers, David Vaughn and Ronald Vaughn; and brother-in-law John Lieske.
A gathering of friends and family will be held 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Blakesburg Cemetery.
