The Sphinx Club, dedicated to fostering campus unity and spirit throughout the Wabash community, extended their outreach in extraordinary philanthropic support to include the local clients of Meals on Wheels.
As a part of the recent Homecoming festivities, the club set a goal of $5,000 to donate to the local MoW. In memorable Little Giant fashion, they exceeded that mark and collected nearly $7,500.
Additionally, the leadership of the club, realizing that social isolation is a challenge to the vulnerable aging population, invited Meals on Wheels clients to attend the Homecoming game free of charge. Client Joe L. Miller, accompanied by Gary and Pat Stull, was able to cheer Wabash on to a 13 to 30 victory over Ohio Wesleyan.
