Ritch Joe Gray, a resident of Spring Hill, Florida, and native of Noblesville and Crawfordsville, Indiana, passed away May 8, 2024, at the age of 63.

He was born Aug. 12, 1960, at Lebanon, Indiana.

Ritch was preceded in death by his father, Donald D. Gray; his mother, Muriel (Suiters) Gray; his brother, Bruce Gray; and grandparents whom he now embraces at his golden gate reunion.

Survivors include: his loving life partner Sherry Hollingsworth; sons, Nathan Gray and Zachary Gray; daughter Johna Gray; granddaughter Ruth Lennon Gray; brother Gary Gray (Christine); sisters, Cheryl Skaggs (James), Denise McDonald (John) and Jayne Gribble (John); and several nieces and nephews.

Ritch’s life was multifaceted, reflecting his brilliant mind, diverse interests and passions.

He proudly served in the Drum and Bugle Corps of the United States Marine Corps.

As a Montgomery County K-9 handler and sheriff’s deputy, Ritch worked tirelessly to keep his community safe.

Ritch’s analytical mind led him to a successful career as a manufacturing engineer as well in his Florida home.

He loved music, spending time on the golf course and enjoying the outdoors.

Ritch Gray’s legacy lives on through the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the love he shared. As we mourn his passing, let us celebrate the richness of his life and honor his memory.

We have solace in knowing he lived life fully and on his own terms.

May Ritch rest in eternal peace.
