Betty Sue “Susie” Stephenson Johnson of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday night, July 25, 2024, at Franciscan Health of Lafayette. She was 65.
Susie was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and especially loved her grandchildren. She was loved by a lot of people.
Born Dec. 30, 1958, at Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Jack Stephenson and Neva Stephenson. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School and worked at RR Donnelley.
Surviving family includes: four sons, Jason Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Joshua Johnson and Michael Belcher; daughter Kayla Johnson; five sisters, Becky, Sally, Jackie, Lori and Bobbi; brother Chico; 20 grandchildren, Kendra, Alyssa, Jeremiah, Taylor, Nevaeh, Jaden, Gavin, Chase, Bentley, Angel, Aubrey, Kaden, Braden, Daegan, Addalyn, Dakota, Daria, Slade, Sawyer and Jaden; along with a small handful of great-grandchildren.
She resides in Heaven with her parents, one sister, Rita Wise, and twin granddaughters, Hannah and Lexi.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Ave. Services will begin at 2 p.m., led by Peggy Miller.
