The Crawfordsville/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce conducted ribbon-cutting ceremony for the expansion of services at Quest for Balance Wellness.
Building on their years of providing quality individual and group grief support in Crawfordsville since opening in 2019, the organization is expanding their bereavement work to three areas of focus. These include community education programs to facilitate conversations about grief, loss, and end of life; specialized courses to meet the specific needs of a population and intensive training for professionals working to improve the mental health of our community.
This expansion is in response to community needs and significant changes in the theory and practice of grief care over the last five years.
“I’m excited to lean into this vision,” said owner Jai Miranda, who is a certified grief coach and certified grief educator. “Two of my greatest passions are caring for others and education, and this new work gives me the opportunity to lean into both.”
A studio focused on all dimensions of wellness, in addition to grief care, Quest for Balance Wellness offers yoga, Reiki, sound healing, and other wellness programs.
