Peggy Arlene Taylor, 84, of Crawfordsville passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, at Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born Feb. 2, 1940, in Parke County, to the late Doc and Lena (Allen) Craft.
Arlene attended Wallace schools. She retired from Raybestos, where she worked as a machine operator. Arlene was an avid bowler and traveled to many national championships.
Arlene will be deeply missed by her son, David (Patti) Harvey; brother Bill (Martha) Craft; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four children, Donald Harvey Jr., Dina Barrett, Casey Taylor and Debbie Lee; and granddaughter Samantha Harvey.
A visitation will be held for Arlene at Sanders Funeral Care Waynetown, 202 Bratton Road, on Thursday, June 20 from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Arlene’s memory to the Women’s Resource Center, 407 E. Market St., Suite 106, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
