Lawrence Allen Rickey, 79, of Avon passed away June 5, 2024.
He was born Sept. 2, 1944, at Crawfordsville, the son of George Wayne and Thelma Louise Rickey.
Lawrence served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a mechanic by trade. Lawrence was a member of Liberty Baptist Church West Indianapolis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Wayne Rickey and sister Sharon Largent.
He is survived by wife Beverly Rose Rickey; daughter Amanda Fields and her husband Jason; and grandchildren, Kaylin Fields and Brayden Fields.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. June 22 at the Liberty Baptist Church West Indianapolis, 10450 E. C.R. 450N, Indianapolis.
