Members of Crawfordsville INFBPW enjoyed dinner and a presentation with Kevin Cobb about the Veterans Memorial Park. This park will be honoring all veterans. Their singular purpose is to “provide the community a dynamic, educational based Memorial Park with a focus on honoring all veteran and their role in preserving the freedoms and rights that we as Americans hold dear.” To learn more or to donate, email veterans.memorial.47933@gmail.com.
We would like to welcome several new members to the organization in the last couple of months — Macy Lewis, Samantha Lynch, RaeAnn Gochenour and Ellen Laffoon.
The business meeting followed with discussion on mentorship of new members, Chamber of Commerce Business Buzz, education award application updates and our Working Women Make a Difference donation of $250 went to the Veterans Memorial Park.
In other business, $150 was donated to the Relay for Life organization for their event happening on Sept. 16 at the Moose.
