Barbara Ann Austin, 90, of Crawfordsville passed away on June 15, 2024, at Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born in Linnsburg, Indiana, to Guy and Mina Shull Eggers but was raised most of her life in Wingate, Indiana. Barbara worked at RR Donnelley’s for 34 years. She was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge #6, Eagles and American Legion. Barbara loved to play bingo and was an avid reader. She enjoyed playing games on her iPad and sitting on her front porch visiting with her neighbors.
Surviving family includes: sons, Edward (Melissa Jones) Lepper and Gary (Rhonda) Lepper; daughter Debra (Bill) Keller; grandson Bradley (Jia Ye) Keller; step-daughters-in-law, Betty and Phyllis Austin; step-grandchildren, Michael and Shelly Austin; one niece; and two nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; sister May (Lee) Rice; two step-sons, Larry and William Austin; and both former husbands, Budd Austin and Raymond Lepper.
Visitation for Barbara will be Wednesday, June 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with service following at 1 p.m., led by Pastor Craig Carrell. Burial will be at Oak Hill -Grant Avenue.
