The Vanity Theater will have auditions for its upcoming production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. This timeless classic, directed by Brian Swick and Nate Baldwin, promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for both actors and audiences alike.

As they step through the wardrobe and into the mystical land of Narnia, four siblings discover a world frozen in eternal winter by the White Witch. With the guidance of the noble lion Aslan, they embark on an epic journey filled with courage, imagination, and the ultimate triumph of good over evil. This holiday season at the Vanity — be a part of this tale of magic, wonder and the power of imagination as it’s brought to life on stage.

“I’m thrilled and honored to share the helm of our theater’s production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe,” Baldwin said. “We hope to deliver a fun and unforgettable experience for our audience and talented actors. Join us for a magical experience like no other, just in time for the holidays.”

“Directing The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is a dream come true,” Swick said. “It’s especially personal to me because it was the first production I auditioned for as a middle school student. Through our own auditions, we seek to unearth the hidden talents of our community. Together, we will tell a story of imagination, courage and the triumph of good.”

The Vanity Theater welcomes actors of all ages, from adults to first graders, to audition for this production. Auditions will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Vanity Theater.
