Creed Tolin, owner of Tolin Farms, made a test round earlier this week to begin this year's 2024 harvest. Farmers often do a test round to check the crop's moisture and quality and for any unforeseen equipment breakdowns. The Tolin Farm is a grain, cattle, and hay farming operation west of New Market. Creed Tolin is the grandson of the late Dan Rice. Tolin said, "This is a family operation, and I am grateful to be able to farm the land and raise our family on the farm."
