Sunflowers are in full bloom all over Montgomery County, and the Crawfordsville Seed Library wants to see yours.
As part of its seed library project, the library is sponsoring a contest about these sunny delights, bringing our community together in a celebration of nature’s beauty.
The competition offers a variety of categories to cater to different interests: tallest sunflower, largest sunflower head and most unique sunflower. The tallest sunflower must be measured from the ground level to the top. The largest flower head photo should show width, including petals. The most unique sunflower will be judged on what makes your sunflower stand out. Multiple entries are accepted and encouraged.
Entries for the competition will close Aug. 31. To enter, email photos to cvilleseedlibrary@gmail.com. Include your name, phone number and category with the image.
Winners will receive a fabulous fall-themed prize, which will be announced on Sept. 2.
