WAVELAND — Waveland Strong is hosting a Veterans Memorial Night at 6 p.m. Friday at the Waveland Town Park.
Waylon Gomez will perform on stage, starting at 6 p.m. Registration for the cornhole tournament and 5k also will begin at 6 p.m. The tournament will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the 5k will start at 7 p.m. The cornhole tournament is $25 per team. The 5K is $20 per person or $50 for a family.
Free Bingo begins at 7:30 p.m.
All proceeds from the events will go towards the Waveland Veterans Memorial fund.
There will be food and concessions available for puchase, with proceeds going to the Brown Lucky Leaf 4-H Club.
