Posted

Magic, music and sisterly love will soon fill the Vanity Theater stage.

Mermazing Princess Parties will present “The Snow Sisters’ Birthday Surprise: An Interactive Storytime Stage Show” at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 24 and Aug. 25 at the historic downtown theater at 122 S. Washington St. Tickets are $15 each. Children younger than age 2 are admitted free.

In this enchanting retelling of your favorite frosty tale, follow the beloved siblings on a journey of birthday surprises, unexpected challenges, and the power of true love. With captivating performances, interactive elements, and musical performances of your favorite songs, this delightful storytelling adaptation is perfect for families and fans of all ages.

This original stage show features musical interactive storytelling bookended by a plot surrounding the Snow Queen’s birthday. Audience members act as party guests invited to help surprise the Snow Queen, one of many elements incorporating patrons into the structure of the show. What do they do when things don’t quite go to plan? The show is approximately 45 minutes long, followed by a free meet-and-greet.

The immersive stage production engages audiences by inviting them to actively participate. This experience uniquely incorporates children’s natural demonstrations of excitement. From shouting out answers to singing along and dancing from their seats, children will feel a part of the show — and their reactions, giggles, and enthusiasm are all welcome and encouraged.
