The Recovery Coalition was formed in 2017 to bring together the recovery community of Montgomery County. The Recovery Rec Center provides a supportive environment for those in recovery and those still struggling with addiction. Through meetings, small groups and various activities, the Rec Center promotes recovery, community, fellowship and growth. They are celebrating five years as a non-profit agency and invite the community to celebrate.
The anniversary event will take place 12:30-3:30 p.m. July 22 at the Rec Center, 1300 Ladoga Road. There will be a fish fry, live music, Kona Ice, bounce barn, games, prizes and more. In addition, several community partners will have informational booths.
This is a free event with donations appreciated. All proceeds will go towards supporting the recovery community in Montgomery County.
