Local author Julie Jones will be at the Carnegie Museum from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday for a book signing event. She will have two of her historical paranormal novels, “The Plantation” and “The Calling of Crows,” available.
Cash buyers can purchase one or both books for $15 each. The list price for Amazon and Barnes and Nobles is $18.95 plus shipping. If you would like to make a credit card purchase, the Carnegie is willing to make the transaction for an additional $3, allowing you to purchase for $18.
Beverages and Halloween treats in honor of the holiday will be available.
“October is a festive month; come help me make it a fun time for adults and children alike,” Jones said. “Remember to bring a book bag so you can take advantage of the sale, and ask me about my upcoming novel; it’s in the works.”
The Carnegie Museum is located at 222 S. Washington St.
