Players are still needed for the first-ever Montgomery County Wiffle Ball Challenge to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Christian Church. The church located on U.S. 231 South has built an official wiffle ball field.
Tyler Smith said the biggest need is for players from North Montgomery. Both Southmont and Crawfordsville have full teams.
Eligible players need to have played softball or baseball while in high school.
Bats and balls will be provided.
