The Montgomery County Visitors & Convention Bureau welcomes Stephanie VanCleave Timmons as associate director.
She joins the organization after a 20-year teaching career. Timmons and her family are Montgomery County residents.
“I am excited to embark on a new journey as associate director for Visit MoCo, alongside Executive Director Heather Shirk. I am thrilled to explore new possibilities and make a positive impact in our community,” Timmons said.
The Montgomery County Visitors & Convention Bureau, known as Visit MoCo, promotes the destination brand experience and the development of communities and businesses for leisure and event visitors with the emphasis on generating overnight stays, increased visitor spending and achieving higher county quality of life. Visitors to Montgomery County contributed $37.3 million to the local economy in 2022. That is a 19% increase over the previous year, as reported in the most recent economic impact report by Rockport Analytics.
