Ted Kerr of Crawfordsville passed away suddenly at the age of 74 on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024.
Born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, on Oct. 11, 1949, to Roy and Barbara Geralds Kerr, he graduated from Coal Creek Central High School in 1967. Ted attended college at Vincennes University and worked most of his life as a painter. Ted enjoyed fishing, and mushroom and squirrel hunting.
On August 16, 1969 Ted married Cheryl Walker. This year would have been 55 years together.
Surviving family includes: wife Cheryl Kerr; son Kelby Kerr; and granddaughters, Kaelyn (Landon) Nave and Kelsey (Jared) Cummings.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Ted will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Ave., Crawfordsville. Service will begin at 7 p.m.
