Richard Lee Marshall, 66, of Wingate passed away at 8:21 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024, following complications of a heart attack in Franciscan Hospital East Lafayette.

He loved talking politics and the Chicago Cubs.

He was a member of the Church of the Latter-day Saints. He was “retired” from Wabash National after more than 20 years, where he worked all facets of semi trailer manufacturing and spent the end of his time in the maintenance department.

Surviving, along with his wife Marlene, are two daughters, Amanda (Robert) Bajzatt of Frankfort and Jennifer Wilkinson (Joshua) of Crawfordsville; two sons, Ricky Marshall and Matthew Savage, both of Frankfort; three grandchildren, Koty, Na’ilah and Israel; two great-great-granddaughters; siblings, George (Diane) Marshall of Delphi, Jerry (Betty) Marshall of Reynolds, Roger (Janet) Marshall of Colburn, Connie (Ed) Johnson of Lebanon, Anthony (Gloria) Marshall of Texas, Julia Driggs of Frankfort, Beverly (Jason) Grubbs of Michigan, Melvin Marshall of Indianapolis, Vivian (Curt) Hoeksema of Kokomo, Marilyn Wells of Madison and Janet Buchanan of Mulberry; and many nieces and nephews.
