North Montgomery traveled Tuesday to South Putnam for a three-way meet. The Chargers shot a 235. Covington was the top team with a 218 and South Putnam carded a 242.
Individual scores for the Chargers were Mallory Inskeep 51, Marlee Reed 56, Kristen Bradford 63 and Emma Pyle 65.
“I saw some solid effort from our team team tonight,” Charger Coach Bob Ryker said. “But, there is room for improvement. We need to trighten up our game. We work on consistency and focus to keep pushing forward.”
The Chargers will travel Monday to Tiger Pointe in Greencastle to take on the Tiger Cubs.
