LINDEN — The Fourth Annual Midwest Railroad Fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 10 at the Linden Depot Museum grounds.
Organizers are planning a nice program and look forward to a good turnout.
The museum’s 1837 steam engine has been tested and is ready to run. It will make four trips on Aug. 10. Seating is limited, so not to overload the engine. To reserve a seat on one of the four rides, call 765-427-3630.
The museum’s Grand Central Terminal exhibit is nearing completion. Museum staff made a trip to New York City this spring to bring back donated artifacts that were used in the terminal. Grand Central Terminal is one of the top 10 tourist attractions in the world. Approximately 750,000 people go through the terminal complex every day. About 20 million people visit the terminal annually.
