James Andrew Gurney, known affectionately as Jim, passed away June 27, 2024, in Crawfordsville, at the age of 57.
Born March 1, 1967, in Brazil, Indiana, he grew up to be a cherished member of his community.
James left behind wife Shannon of 35 years; son Brandon; daughter Miranda; grandson Chevy; two sisters; and two brothers.
Jim joins in death his son, Michael Gurney; his father and mother H.A. and Dixie Gurney; two brothers, Allen and Eugene Gurney; and two sisters that died at birth.
Jim will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
His memory will be honored in a celebration of life gathering at 3 p.m. July 7 at 412 Covington St., Crawfordsville.
