The Crawfordsville/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon cutting for Growth and Empowerment Cheer, which is an All-Star, competition cheer program started in May. It is owned and operated by head coach Shanna Turpin.
GEC is about more than just cheerleading and competitions, it’s about teaching young athletes how to grow as people as well as empower others. With an emphasis on building community and learning how to work hard as a team to accomplish goals. They are excited for the upcoming competition season and to grow in our community.
