The Crawfordsville/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce recently conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Smitty D’s Hot Dog Cart at Pike Place in downtown Crawfordsville.
Owners, Kelvin and Courtney Smith-Dalton, serve gourmet hot dogs that are prepared and served with a fiery passion for love, peace and serving everyone in a unique way.
“This is our dream come true,” Kelvin said. “Since I was younger, I had a desire to be creative and serve. When I was a teenager, the passion for food was ignited in me, and I loved the ‘homey’ feel to an open roadside stand.”
The couple is excited to start connecting and giving back as much as they have received from the community.
