COVINGTON — The Beef House Dinner Theatre is pleased to announce their next production, the Classic Country Cavalcade.
The Classic Country Cavalcade brings comedy and country music together much like the experience of the Grand Ole Opry or the classic TV show Hee-Haw. This event will feature local favorites Kena Clark of Milford, Illinois, Logan Kirby of Danville, Illinois and Chrissy Sparks of Urbana, Illinois.
These talented singers are accompanied by a live band featuring piano, bass, guitars, fiddle, drums and steel guitar. Band members include Sparks, Kirby, Chris Taylor, Aaron Bouslog, Tommy Huse and Aubrie Powell. Nancy Henderson, London Clark, Tim Kirby and Brian Zecher also add their comedic chops to the production
The Classic Country Cavalcade features the music and antics made famous by Glen Campbell, Dolly Parton, Barbara Mandrel, Alabama, Porter Wagner, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Minnie Pearl, Archie Campbell, Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, Anne Murray, George Strait and many more country music legends.
Even the buffet meal for this event will feature country western favorites and all the fixin’s, as Bob and Bonnie Wright are cooking up recipes fit for the chuck wagon.
The Classic Country Cavalcade runs Sept. 20-29 with evening shows on Sept. 20, Sept. 27 and Sept. 28 and matinees on Sept. 21, 22, 26, 28 and 29. For evening shows the doors open for dinner at 6 p.m. for an 8 p.m. show. For matinees, doors open at 12:30 p.m. for lunch and a 2 p.m. show. All times are eastern. Tickets at $65 and include preshow music, show, buffet, soft drink, salad, rolls, dessert, tax and fees.
