VEEDERSBURG — Seven women will vie for the title of Miss Fountain County 2024 on Saturday. The newly selected queen and her court will reign over the 4-H fair, which begins Friday and continues through July 18.
The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Paris Livestock Arena. There is no admission charge. Cash will be accepted for the People's Choice award.
Contestants are as follows:
• Micah Stonecipher, 19, is the daughter of Jason and Melissa Stonecipher of Covington. She attends Purdue University and will be a sophomore in the fall. She is sponsored by Burrows Consulting.
• Gracie McKinney, 18, is the daughter of Bradley McKinney of Covington and the late Misti McKinney. She attends Covington High School and will be a senior in the fall. She is sponsored by E&K 3D Printing.
• Leah Kirkpatrick, 20, is the daughter of John and Gretchen Kirkpatrick of Veedersburg. She attends Valparaiso University and will be a senior in the fall. She is sponsored by Keeling’s Barber Shop & LE Kirkpatrick Farms.
• Avery Donaldson, 18, is the daughter of Scott and Rebecca Donaldson of Hillsboro. She will attend Purdue University as a freshman in the fall. She is sponsored by Overpass Pizza & Mike Alsop Chevrolet.
• Ashlynn Livengood, 19, is the daughter of Richard Livengood and Shelby Pineda of Covington. She attends Indiana University Indianapolis, where she will be a sophomore in the fall. She is sponsored by Illiana Firearms.
• Katelyn Callahan, 18, is the daughter of Scott and Sharilyn Callahan of Covington. She will be attending Purdue University as a freshman this fall. She is sponsored by Gold Rush Pawn Brokers.
• Alexis Myers, 18, is the daughter of Lori and Todd Myers of Attica. She recently graduated from Fountain Central High School and Thompson’s College of Cosmetology and is a licensed cosmologist and esthetician.
