Main Street to offer historic preservation trades workshop

Crawfordsville Main Street will hold a historic preservation trades workshop 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 29 at the Masonic Cornerstone Grand Hall and Event Center, 221 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville.

Using hands-on training, attendees will learn from seasoned masters how to rehabilitate historic wood flooring and repair historic masonry. The workshop is a great opportunity to jump start a career or do personal projects with confidence.

It is open to anyone interested in learning skills used for historic property rehabilitation. No previous experience or trade knowledge is necessary.

There is no cost to register and a complimentary lunch will be provided.
