Connor Hurteau, a local Domino’s franchise owner, was recently awarded the most prestigious honor bestowed on franchisees — the Gold Franny Award. Hurteau earned this award as part of an elite group of about 740 franchise owners in the United States.

Hurteau has been with Domino’s for 12 years and purchased his first store in 2019. Since then, he has grown his franchise and now owns three stores in west Indiana, located in Greencastle, Crawfordsville and Brazil. He oversees more than 50 team members across these stores.

“As a Domino’s franchisee, it is rewarding to provide opportunities and guidance to my team and watch them grow,” Hurteau said. “We try to be the best in whatever we do, and seeing the motivation that each of my managers bring to work every day also motivates me to be better for them.”

This is Hurteau’s first Gold Franny Award, recognized for his franchise’s operational audit scores, community involvement, store safety and security and team member morale. Hurteau is active within the communities his stores serve — sponsoring youth sports leagues, supporting local school fundraisers and donating food to local homeless shelters and first responders.

The Gold Franny Awards were created more than 40 years ago to honor excellence among franchise owners.
