Keystone Cooperative awards scholarships

Posted

INDIANAPOLIS —  Keystone Cooperative Inc. has announced the 54 recipients of its $1,000 scholarship program for 2024. The scholarships were awarded to high school seniors with an interest in agriculture and who have been heavily involved in their community. Students from the area awarded scholarships include: Jessica Bradley, Southmont High School; Luke Davison, Clinton Central High School; and Caleb Gobel, Benton Central High School.

Although these commitments may have been separately made by two of our legacy organizations, Ceres Solutions and Co-Alliance, these students were not forgotten about with the Keystone Cooperative merger (effective March 1) CEO Kevin Still notes the importance of investing in rural youth, stating, “You’ll find the future is bright and encouraging when considering the potential of these students. We are proud to deliver this support for students of this caliber so that they can in turn be productive citizens of our rural communities and eventually the workforce. Congratulations to the class of 2024.”

Applicants were selected based on academic performance, extra-curricular involvement and their passion for agriculture.
