William “Bill” Luther Bradley, 83, of Ladoga passed away peacefully April 29, 2024, in North Fort Myers, Florida, from complications related to Parkinson’s Disease.

Bill was born March 3, 1941, at New Ross, to Luther and Harriet Bastian Bradley. After graduating from Ladoga High School in 1959, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force Reserves while attending Indiana State University.

He married his high school sweetheart, Connie Elliott Bradley, at Ladoga Christian Church, on Aug. 26, 1962. They moved to the farm in 1963 where he began his farming career and they raised two sons, Brad Lee Bradley of Lafayette and Greg Elliott Bradley of Norcross, Georgia. Bill instilled great values in his sons by teaching them how to enjoy working hard and the importance of honesty and integrity in everything they do.

Bill lived an adventurous life traveling with Connie, racing dirt bikes and flying airplanes along with being a talented welder. He was a member of the Ladoga Christian Church and served on the board of directors for Farmers State Bank (now HHSB) for 28 years, the last 15 as chairman. Bill and Connie enjoyed retired life spending winters in South Florida at Six Lakes Country Club with wonderful friends and his beloved cat, Scratch. Their marriage of nearly 62 years defined true love.

He is survived by wife Connie; sons, Brad (Dawn) and Greg (Jill); five grandchildren, Stefanie, Jamie, Kelsey, Leo and Henry; three great-grandchildren, Vincent, Raymond and Emersyn; sister Berniece Warner; and brother Jim Bradley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life ceremony is being planned for friends and family in Ladoga in June with details to follow.

In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations to be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation in Bill’s honor. www.parkinson.org.
