Rockville Town Council President Dave Brown (left) spoke to the Rockville Rotary Club recently at The Thirty-Six Saloon. Mark Spelbring (right) was the program host. Brown discussed plans for the year celebrating the Bicentennial of the Town of Rockville, including the recent dedication of the clock on North Jefferson Street. Brown shared plans for other events throughout the rest of the year including helping sponsor the fireworks at Rockville Lake Park and opening a time capsule this summer, and dedication of a Veteran’s Memorial in November. The Rotary Club of Rockville is one of over 42,000 clubs around the world, dedicated to Service Above Self. The club normally meets Monday evening at 5:30 p.m.at the Thirty-Six Saloon banquet room.
