PHHS FFA attends state convention

Parke Heritage High School FFA members attended the 94th Indiana State FFA Convention held at Purdue University. Lilie Mace and Keely Black competed in the Animal Science Demonstration contest and placed fourth place.

Madi Coleman competed in the Agricultural Education CDE contest and placed in the top 12 in the state. Four members competed in the Veterinary Science Career and Development Event (CDE) which consists of a written exam, instrument identification, a group presentation, and practicum skills. Team members were Sadie Walker, Lilie Mace, Keely Black, and Paige Bishop.

In addition to attending sessions, the students visited the Lafayette ADM office.

Cade Runyon and Carson Robison served as the chapter’s delegates at the business session, which allowed them to vote on district officer slate and section director.

Brayton Myers, Madi Coleman, Hunter McDaniel and Jerrid Graves attended a Leadership Workshop hosted by Co-Alliance.
