Lt. Governor Eric Holcomb will join elected leaders for refreshments, tours of train Iowa Pacific Holdings and the State of Indiana, in partnership with on-line communities and Amtrak, invite the public to a celebration of Hoosier State® passenger rail improvements at 2 p.m. this Thursday, June 9 at Lafayette’s Riehle Plaza, located at 200 N. 2nd St.
Lt. Governor Eric Holcomb will join state and local elected officials for remarks and refreshments.
Children and the children at heart from the public are invited to tour the Hoosier State’s upgraded, historic train equipment between 1:45 p.m. and 3 p.m, after the train arrives from Indianapolis. Lt. Governor Holcomb will join local, rail-industry and state leaders on board the special train for the return trip.
