TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) _ Hallador Energy Co. (HNRG) on Monday reported third-quarter net income of $1.9 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Terre Haute, Indiana-based company said it had profit of 6 cents. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs, came to 11 cents per share.
The coal, oil and gas producer posted revenue of $65.1 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit 84 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $3.37.
