The Franciscan Health Breast Center will offer extended hours on Sept. 29 from 5 to 10 p.m. as a way to encourage women to get a mammogram. The event is fun-filled event with a variety of fun and educational activities for women. Everyone is welcome to participate in this event, even if you have your mammogram scheduled at another time.
This event will be held at the Franciscan Health Mammography Screening Center located at 3920 St. Francis Way, Suite 215, Lafayette, on the campus of Franciscan Health Lafayette East.
This event has a limited amount of openings for mammograms. Cost for the mammograms is based on insurance or self-pay; the other activities are free. If you need a diagnostic mammogram because you are having symptoms or have been diagnosed with breast cancer, call Central Scheduling at 765-423-6170 to schedule a diagnostic mammogram during regular business hours.
Registration is required and can be made by calling 765-449-5133. A representative from Franciscan Health’s Breast Center will contact the participant at a later time to confirm the appointment.
Radiologists will be on-site to answer general questions but will not be reading mammograms that day.
