ROCKVILLE — Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a boating accident with serious bodily injury. A 13 year-old boy sustained a severe deep laceration to his lower right leg while boating. He was being tow by a pontoon boat on a tube when the tow rope became wrapped around his leg.
He was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter and was air lifted to Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. His condition is unknown. The injury occurred on Sunday at approximately
2:30 p.m. The boy is from Avon.
