Black Balloon Day is Monday and is a day for loved ones to remember lives lost to addiction. The Recovery Coalition will host a fundraising event that day. A meal will be served at 5:30 p.m., fill out a remembrance card for loved ones to hand in the center, get a free T-shirt and attend a free Narcan training where you will leave with a life-saving medication on hand.
The Recovery Rec Center is safe, supportive space that many call home during recovery. It is a non-profit 501c3 that relies on donations and grans to keep its doors open. All donations will go towards sustaining the Rec Center and costs for the events.
